He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Cournoyer and Maria Cournoyer (Dupuis); his siblings, Yvon, Robert, Camille Cournoyer and Adrienne St. Jean; and his close friend Doris Thibedeau.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Lucille Cournoyer of Cumberland and Claire Cournoyer of Cumberland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
