He was predeceased by: his wife Rev. Joan McShane (Lyon); his parents, Arthur McShane and Florence McShane (Dowding); his daughter Diane Donahue; and his brother Bernard McShane.
He is survived by: his children, Donald McShane (Donna) of Pennsylvania and Donna LaPlant (Stephen) of Seekonk, MA; and his brother James McShane. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
