She was predeceased by: her parents, John DoCanto and Irene DoCanto (Costa); and her sister Joan Travisano. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia A. Smith (Dennis) and John S. Barlow (Janice); her grandchildren, Stephanie Isidoro (Anthony), Leah Barlow (William Sloane), Adam Barlow (Aubrey), Kristin Smith (Galvin Pereira) and Joanna Barlow (Benjamin Strassfeld); and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Julie Isidoro, Pema Sloane and Elijah Strassfeld. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
