He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce L. Rennick (Read); his parents, James H. Rennick, Jr. and Ida C. Rennick (Gervais); his son Todd A. Rennick, Sr.; and his siblings, Melvin Rennick and Patricia Rennick.
He is survived by: his children, Robin L. Thompson of Kingston and James W. Rennick, Jr. (Sheryl) of Cumberland; his sister Eileen Halle of North Providence; his grandchildren, Frank, Jr., Elissa, Todd, Jr., Kaitlyn and Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Donavin, Theodore, Solstice, Ominara, Beya, Amde and Tammy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
