It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James W. Rennick Sr. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce L. Rennick (Read); his parents, James H. Rennick, Jr. and Ida C. Rennick (Gervais); his son Todd A. Rennick, Sr.; and his siblings, Melvin Rennick and Patricia Rennick.
He is survived by: his children, Robin L. Thompson of Kingston and James W. Rennick, Jr. (Sheryl) of Cumberland; his sister Eileen Halle of North Providence; his grandchildren, Frank, Jr., Elissa, Todd, Jr., Kaitlyn and Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Donavin, Theodore, Solstice, Ominara, Beya, Amde and Tammy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
