She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond A. Pailthorpe and Emaline Pailthorpe (Morrow); her child Glenn Birtwell; her sister Hazel Gregory; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Birtwell.
She is survived by: her husband William L. Birtwell; and her children, Barbara Girard (Al) of Barrington, Carol Hodnett of Stuart, FL, Bruce Birtwell of Seekonk, MA and Susan Chace (William) of Rumford. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
