With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Nixon (Pawtucket, Rhode Island), who passed away on January 31, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Annis Nixon (Bayley) and Robert B. Nixon, Jr.; and his aunt Mary Bayley. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nixon (McDonald); his children, Jennifer, John and Meredith; his brother Robert Bruce Nixon III; his sister-in-law Mary Nixon; his sons-in-law, Robert Macnamara and Chris Donato; and his grandchildren, Bayley, Robert Macnamara, John-Thomas, Francesca, Thaddeus, Nathaniel Donato, JT, Tad and Nate.
