She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Lopes Prazeres; her father Fernando of Almeida; and her siblings, Antonio, Jose, Ana, Manuel, Joaquim and Raul.
She is survived by: her children, Fatima M. Trindade (Joao) of Seekonk, Massachusetts, Paulo J. Prazeres (Ana) of North Attleboro, Massachusetts and Cezarina "Sue" Jackson (Eric) of Seekonk, Massachusetts.; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew, Cassandra, Sophia and Evan; and her great grandchildren, Paislee and Jonathan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Saint John Paul II Parish (755 Central Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mount St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
