She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Hermiz; her parents, Anthony Kareemo and Margaret Kareemo; and her siblings, Sidney and James Kareemo.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hermiz (Gail), Diane Deehan (Patrick), Linda Newton (David) and Suzanne Hermiz; her grandchildren, Sean Deehan and Katherine Hermiz; and her great grandchildren, Austin Deehan and Cameron Dant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
