He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine V. Caruthers (Beaupre); his parents, Martin Caruthers and Mary Caruthers (Tehee); and his siblings, Mary Frances Rollo, Gene Caruthers, John W. Caruthers, Ira R. Caruthers and Rena Nez.
He is survived by: his children, Gail A. Case (John, III) of Attleboro, Robert M. Caruthers of South Attleboro, Keith G. Caruthers of Olive Hill and Marc M. Caruthers (Rebecca) of Rehoboth; his grandchildren, John E. Case, IV (Shawna), Ryan M. Case (Aimee), Jason A. Case (Amy), Kevin M. Case (Grace), Derrick M. Case, Austin Caruthers, Logan Caruthers and Marc Caruthers; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Christian, Noah, Alexis, Madison, Mason, Ariana, Cody, Mya, Jalen, Alison, Jaclyn, Evelyn and Jacson Case. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
