He is survived by: his wife Maria Gomes Baptista; his mother Maria S DaSilva; and his children, Olimpio Junior Baptista (Chantell Baptista) of New Bedford, MA, Henrique Baptista, Jorge Gomes, Elisabeth Gomes of Pawtucket, RI, Fernando Gomes of Jacksonville, FL, Amelia Da Silva and Idalina Vieira of Angola. He is also survived by 7 sisters, 8 brothers, 29 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
