He was predeceased by: his wife Jocelyne Guay (Vallieres); his parents, Hormidas Guay and Yvonne Guay (Marcoux); his son-in-law Dennis Medeiros; and his siblings, Gaston Guay, Ronald Guay, Eddy Guay, Laurette Barbin and Rejeanne Perreault.
He is survived by: his children, Normand Guay (Dana), Martine Medeiros and Nancy Johnson (Anthony); his sister Micheline Smith; his grandchildren, Justin, Ashlee, Nicole, Kyle, Chelsea, Crystal, Isaiah and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Zavir, Esme, Santiago and Karson.
