He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Byers (Proctor); his parents, Everett Byers and Martha Byers (Seaton); his son Scott Byers; and his sister Ruth Powers.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Ann Wall (Kevin); his stepgrandchildren, Brendan, Patrick, Daniel Wall, Camille and Donovan; and his sister Grace McCabe.
