She was predeceased by : her husband Frederick Gariepy; her parents, Irene Blanchette and Yvonne Blanchette (Laperche); her brothers, Rolland Blanchette and Leo Blanchette; and her children, Richard Gariepy and Diane Dingley.

She is survived by : her children, James Gariepy (Kiet Ly) of Tustin, CA, Robert Gariepy (Mary Jane) of Charlottesville, VA, Carol Varin (Ron) of Beddington, ME, Michael Gariepy (Yoko Omi) of San Jose, CA and Gail Girouard (Paul) of Attleboro, MA.; and her children-in-law, Ladonna Gariepy and Mark Dingley of North Kingstown, RI.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home (220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI 02860). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Cecilia Church - Saint John (745 Central Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ri Veterans Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
