She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Agapito Hernandez and Julia Barrios; her children, Gonzalo Gil, Robinson Gil, Nancy Cumplido, Jorge J. Gil, Genys Munoz, Ana Munoz, Duvis Estrada, Edmanuel Gil and Ruth Gil-Johnston; her stepson Luis Alfredo Gil; her husband Gonzalo Gil; and her adoptive son Victor Hernandez. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
