She is survived by: her children, Maria "Maggie" Darosa, Francisco "Snoopy" Mendes, Diolinda "Dudui" Mendes, Estella "Djodjoca" Mendes, Euricu "Lilico" Mendes, Benjamin "Djimi" Mendes, Nair "Zami" Rodrigues, Junior Rodrigues and Jussara Rodrigues; and her siblings, Maria "Mery" Rosemary Pires, Zezinho Pires, Manuel "Lele" Andrade, Eugene Andrade, Olavo Pires, Joao Pires and Val Pires. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
