He is survived by: his parents, Frances Paliotti Lopes and John D. Gibbons; his wife Nelci; his children, Sydney, Nikolas and Madison; and his pets, Milo and Theo. He is also survived by his parents; siblings and in-laws; many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shane's memory may be made to any youth organization of the donor's choice, honoring his lifelong commitment to mentoring and supporting young people.
