He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. McLaughlin and Margaret M. McLaughlin (Rabbitt); and his brother-in-law Myron "Chuck" Dourado. He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn M. Dourado of Massachusetts, Thomas D. McLaughlin (Kathleen) of Alabama, Susan M. McLaughlin of Rhode Island and Robert J. McLaughlin (Shirley) of Rhode Island. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
