He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Surowiec and Zofia Surowiec (Jucha). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Surowiec (Tondreau); his daughters, Danielle Henao (Brian) of Pawtucket and Kathleen Cipriano (Jonathan) of Pawtucket; his grandson Matias Henao; and his sister Mary Capron of Coventry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
