He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas, Sr. Sladen and Hazel Sladen (Riley); his stepmother Gertrude Sladen (Brady); his wife Jane Sladen (Rowse); his daughter Deborah "Debbie" Baier; and his siblings, Harold Sladen and Ann Bandieri.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas L. Sladen, III (Barbara) of Seekonk, Paul Sladen (Catherine) of East Providence and Michael Sladen of Pawtucket; his son-in-law Claus Baier of Pawtucket; his grandchildren, John Baier (Christina Barlow), Robert Sladen (Daniella), Erin Thibeault (Jake), Elizabeth Dubuc (Jeffrey), Stephen and Ryan Sladen; his great grandchildren, Noah, Penelope Sladen, Benjamin, Emma Dubuc, Jack and Emmy Thibeault; his brother Richard Sladen (Debbie); and his friend Joan Richardson (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
