We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2020, Kathleen A. Silvia of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Correia and Hilda Correia (Amaral); her son-in-law Kevin O'Connor; and her brothers-in-law, Franklin Smith and Thomas H. Pomfret.

She is survived by: her husband John F. Silvia; her children, Brian Silvia and Victoria O'Connor of Newport, RI; her sisters, Linda J. Smith of Fairhaven and Cynthia J. Pomfret of Fairhaven; and her grandchildren, Michael Cawley (Amy), Christopher Dill (AdysLynn), Jared O'Connor (Melanie), Morgan O'Connor (Hannah) and Madison O'Connor (Ariel Brown). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; six nieces and nephews, and four Godchildren.
