He is survived by: his wife Maria Elizabeth Soares (Deburgo); his brother Daniel Soares; his children, Jose Soares (Linda), Rosa Soares and Joanna Soares (Jason Baskins); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Soares, Julian Soares, Nathaniel Soares, Natalia Soares, Jeremiah Baldwin and Darius Soares; and his great grandchild Jared Houlihan Jr..
