He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert A. Dahlberg and Thelma Dahlberg; his wife Pamela; his children, Albert (Hilary), Krista and Paul (Becky); and his siblings, Jim and Cordelia. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, the Providence Friends Meeting or Doctors Without Borders.
