We announce the death of Alexander Drinkwater (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Drinkwater and Josephine Drinkwater (Regine); and his sister Gilda Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Cathy L. Drinkwater (Patri); his children, George Halley, Jr. (Jennifer) of Stafford, VA, Robert Halley (Kristin) of Providence, Nicholas Halley of Michigan and Jessica Halley of Glocester; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Chase, Evan Halley and Elijah Vincet; and his cousin Richard Bevilacqua.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel (643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Philip Church (622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828).
