It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anite Dure in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 91, on May 30, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Anite may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anite touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hypomene and Victor. She is survived by: her husband Jean Formelus Dure; her children, Rene Dure, Jean Bernard Dure and Alex Dure; her stepchildren, Anne Peavy, Katania Dure, Jerone Brown and Liliane Brown; and her siblings, Olive Lauture, Agnes Lauture and Andre Lauture. She is also survived by grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
Viewing was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Avenue Church of God (297 Elmwood Ave, Providence, RI 02907).
