He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Rega and Josephine Rega (Raso); his son Donald Charette; and his siblings, Mary Agny, Frank, John, Anna Rega, Rosie Santopietro and Josephine Perfetto.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie Ann Rega (Johnson); his children, Theresa M. Charette, Dennis Charette (Kathy) and Tammy J. Rega; and his grandchildren, Amanda Colacone, Dennis, Michael, Christopher and Anthony. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
