We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Anthony Rourke (Providence, Rhode Island). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Rourke and Margaret Rourke (Healy); his son Joseph P. Rourke; his sister Sheila Killian-Grimes; and his close friend Barbara Saroian.

He is survived by: his children, Anne L. Rourke, Marilyn Rourke Netter (Xue Di) and John A. Rourke (Brooke Thomas); his grandchildren, Mackenzie O'Connor and Ian O'Connor; his former wife Denyse Rourke (Pelletier); and his siblings, John J. Rourke (Ferna), Michaela Burke, Margaret "Dodie" Burke, Mary Jo Reilly, Patricia McCrystal Thompson and Rosemary Franz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral and burial will be private due to the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maryknoll Sisters, P.O. Box 317, Maryknoll, New York 10545 in his memory are appreciated.

“For many, many years, Les Harnish and Tony were friends and business associates. I have fond memories of the get togethers and some very entertaining evenings at Camille's. I was sent over to ride with Tony while learning this challenging and very satisfying career. I sat with Tony and some other friends and colleagues at Les' memorial get together at the yacht club at which Les, Tony and others had such good times. Tony is missed. My fondest thoughts go to your family. Joan Harnish”
