He is survived by: his children, Hugo Cabral Ponte of Providence, Jessica Morin (Matthew) of Washington, Stefhanie Ponte of Georgia and Jason Ponte of Providence; his grandchildren, Darian Ponte, Reagan Morin, Elena Morin, Mason Underwood and Nelia Underwood; and his siblings, Antonio M. Ponte, Adriana M. Ponte and Adalina M. Canto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
