It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Bloom of Providence, Rhode Island, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Max and Julius; his nephew Paul; and his parents, Borice of Ukraine and Dora.
He is survived by: his children, Danila Bloom Székely of Newton, MA and Arvid Bloom; and his daughter-in-law Gretchen Lockwood of Chester Springs, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
