Carol M. Hunt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol M. Hunt of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Meehan (Burns) and George V. Meehan; and her children, Martha Hunt-Sexton (Tom) of Drake's Island, Maine, Kevin Hunt (Christine) of Naples, Florida, Peter Hunt (Betsy) of Providence, Andrea Denby (Stephen Redihan), Megan Hunt Stewart (Rick) of Warner, Sarah Hunt of Harper, Texas and Jim Hunt (Ashley Batting) of Matunuck. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make memorial contributions to the Carol and Andrew Hunt Scholarship Fund at Portsmouth Abbey School.
