She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel McKiernan; her parents, George Hanson and Hazel Hanson (Smith); her brother John Hanson; and her daughter-in-law Christina McKiernan.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel P. McKiernan of Providence, Sean McKiernan (Michelina McKiernan) of Weston, CT and Brendan McKiernan (Elizabeth McKiernan) of Glastonbury, CT; her grandchildren, Thomas, Bridget, Patrick, Daniel, Mary, Caitlyn, Kathryn and Deirdre McKiernan; and her great grandchild Thomas McKiernan Jr..
