It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia Agnes Diggins (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph V. Diggins, Sr.; her parents, Daniel J. Coffey and Cecelia A. Coffey (Fox); her child Joey V. Diggins, Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Brown, Anna Coffey, Margaret Joyce, Josephine Murray and Catherine Coffey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellena A. Diggins and Susan M. Diggins; her sister Helena Eldredge; and her friends, Pat Rossi, Jean Kelly, Ginny Bessette and Evelyn Blair.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cecelia's memory may be made to the Fox Point Boys & Girls Club, 90 Ives Street, Providence, RI 02906, an organization reflecting the community roots and values she held close to her heart.
