Charles I. Gaskin Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles I. Gaskin Sr. (Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria R. Gaskin (Sassone); his parents, Charles E. Gaskin and Dorothy C. Gaskin (Youde); his sons, Charles Gaskin, Jr. and Jonathan Gaskin of North Providence; his grandson Thomas Gaskin (Thomas); his siblings, Ronald Gaskin (Helene), Donald Gaskin, Patricia Gaskin, Holly Moniz, Dorothy Melo, Richard Gaskin, Heidi Cole (Joseph), Susan Caldarone (Gregory) and Jeffrey Gaskin; his sisters-in-law, Cathy and Dawne Gaskin; his brothers, Stephen Gaskin and Timothy Gaskin; his brother-in-law Joe Moniz; Kalie and Jakob. He was also cherished by 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Church (65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence, RI 02909).
