He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald (Mulvey); and his siblings, Patrick Fitzgerald, Deborah Connell and Mary JoAnn McGannon.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Joyce Gervais; his sons, Garrett (Donna), Matthew (Christine) and Ian (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ael, Minwin (Erin), John, Claire, Colin and Maria; and his siblings, J. Michael Fitzgerald, Paul Fitzgerald and Sheila Maloney.
