She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmello Morro and Anna Morro (Morgera); her husband Francesco "Frank" Solitro; her daughter Josephine Solitro; and her siblings, William, Alfred, Albert (Joseph Morro) and Mary Potter (Connie Varello).

She is survived by: her sons, Richard Solitro (Yolanda) and Michaelangelo Solitro (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Lorenzo, Vincenzo, Natasha, Sabra and Donato Solitro.

“Clara was ( Julia I. Carbonetta- Grimo ) my mother's best, true friend and ( Linda A. Grimo- Maynard ) my Godmother. She was a person, that was a true "Light in this World" When ever my mother was in need, Clara would be there to be the wind that raised her up. Just by being around her, would make you feel better. I know, I always felt better with her there. She made me a better person. I will miss her very much. I am so sorry for your loss, but she will never be truly be gone in our hearts.”
