He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin C. Whitford Sr. and Jean Dawson (Stanton); and his sisters, Nancy Quinn, Joanne Pimentel and Lori Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Dawson (John Kielczewski), James Dawson, Rachel Gilmore, Devin Giles, Chris Smith, Marissa Borst, Nicole Stevens, Joe Stevens, Rhonda Bast and Walter Marin; his siblings, Jeff Dawson, Debbie Woodard and Phyllis Oatley; and his close friend Sharon Bast. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
