He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Canup and Joyce Canup (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Sharon A. Canup (Kennedy); and his siblings, Linda Steele of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Bonnie Canup of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and David Canup of Lowell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
