It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel R. Mechnig (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mechnig and Philip Mechnig. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mechnig; his brother Bob Mechnig (Kathy); his sisters-in-law, Deborah Mechnig and JoAnn Payson (Larry); his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Mechnig, Mark Mechnig, Nicole Payson, Lindsey Payson and Brooke Payson; Matthew Mechnig.
In lieu of flowers, Dan requested contributions in his memory to All Saints' Memorial Church, 674 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903.
