With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Leyland of Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Darlene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Darlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her father Walter McLaren; her son Dana T. Leyland; and her brother Douglas McLaren. She is survived by: her mother Marilynn Stanhope of Central Falls; her daughter Danene Alicia McLaren of Pawtucket; her grandchildren, Justice, Divine and Zion McLaren; her great grandchild Bella Rose McLaren; and her brothers, Donald of New Hampshire and Daniel McLaren of New Hampshire.
