He is survived by: his wife Carol Landau; his sons, John (Melissa Urban Ames) and Robert (Alice Rha); his granddaughters, Julia Sophia Urban Ames and Sylvia Ellis Ames; and his siblings, John Ames (Wendy) of Palo Alto and Sarah Loar (Jack Loar) of Brentwood, Tennessee..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin's Episcopal Church (50 Orchard Ave, Providence, RI 02906).
