He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. DeVeiga and Jeanette DeVeiga; and his great-great-grandparent Stuart. He is survived by: the mother of his children Rowena Smith; his sisters, Dominga Hadrick, Janet Johnson (Billy), Virginia Veiga and Gloria Gass (Edith Williams); and also, Lois Thompson, Denise Smith, Dione Smith and Teena Castorena (Marco). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
