She is survived by: her children, Corey and Jessica Vecchiarino; her mother Myrna; her stepfather Tom Lopatosky; her father Robert C. Mulcahy Sr.; her stepparents, Sandra Mulcahy (Monti) and Kevin P. Pilkington; her siblings, Robin Geoghegan (Mulcahy), Robert C. Mulcahy Jr., Myrna "Mimi" Medeiros (Mulcahy) and Mark Mulcahy; her stepsister Lynne Maggiacomo (Slidkevich); and her pets, Teddy, Happy and Buggy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, her family request donations to the American Diabetes Foundation in Dawn's name.
