Dennis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dennis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dennis will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hervé Finlay and Marie Finlay (Proulx). He is survived by: his wife Renée A. Finlay (Laflamme); his sons, Adrien (Christopher Ranjitkar) of Acton, MA and Julien (Rebecca (Wallace)) of Loveland, OH; his grandchildren, Sophia, London, Reign, Sebastien and Liesel; and his brother Kenneth A. Finlay (Irene). He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for consideration of donations in Dennis' memory to two nonprofits where he had long associations - the Greenville Public Library (573 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828), where he was serving a term as President, and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society (831 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket, RI 02861), where he was Treasurer.
