She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Lagesse and Wilford Lagesse; her husband Frank Bates, Jr.; and her siblings, Raymond, Wilfred Lagesse and Carol Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Coady (Robert) of Hudson, FL and Barbara Catlow (Robert) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Brett Catlow, Madeline Catlow, Kayley Jackson and Brooke Coady; her sister Vivian Rose of Fairhaven, MA; and her sister-in-law Claire Lagesse of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Doris received exceptional care and was shown extreme kindness and compassion at HopeHealth Hospice, and the family kindly suggests any donations be made to that wonderful organization: HopeHealth Hospice.
