She was predeceased by: her parents, Assis Jose of Oliveira and Benvinda Ledo; her husband Antonio Lopes Tavares; and her siblings, Joao Ledo, Dalila Burgo, Henriqueta Barbosa and Lucilia Teixeira of Oliveria.
She is survived by: her children, Antonia Brooks, Graciette Tavares and Nancy Tavares; and her grandchildren, Deray and Amayah Brooks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
