Elizabeth Palter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Palter of Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Weiser Schneck of Philadelphia and Emerick C. Schneck of Budapest, Hungary.. She is survived by: her sister Deborah Schneck-DePippo (Berkshires); her daughter Lisa A. Palter; her son-in-law Edwin DeShazo; her grandchildren, Olivia Louise DeShazo and Zachary Weiser DeShazo; and her nephews, William Emerick DePippo and John Anthony DePippo. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Although her declining health and the complications of the COVID pandemic impacted her ability to do as much as she had hoped, she loved her time in California.
