Ellen M. Myers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen M. Myers (Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John T. Myers; her parents, Owen F. Goodwin and Ann Goodwin (Farrelly); and her siblings, Edward J. Goodwin, Mary U. Sweeney, Peter K. Goodwin, Jane A. Goodwin, Rev. Owen F. Goodwin, Ann F. Masse, Thomas N. Goodwin and Catherine M. Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Catherine Huffines (Don) of Dallas, TX, Jane Ann Degnan (Joe) of Narragansett, Thomas Myers of Mendoza, Edward Myers (Beth-ann) of Narragansett, Kathleen E. Cotton of Franklin, TN, Michael Myers (Giselle) of Brasilia and Daniel Myers (Brooke) of Wheaton, IL.. She is also survived by grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home (142 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI 02886). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (639 Mt Pleasant Ave, Providence, RI 02908).
