She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Proffitt Young, Jr.; her parents, Roosevelt Robertson and Rose Ann Robertson (Ferrell); and her siblings, Dazola Turner, William Robertson and Edward Robertson.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Proffitt Young III, Petrina Ann Coble, Stephanie Louise Howie and Jorge Roosevelt Young; and her sister Barbara Sowah. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
