He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Montesino and Hilda Montesino; and his brother Jose Montesino Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Ernesto Montesino II and Ricky Montesino; and his siblings, Armando Montesino, Anita Vargas, Maria Negron and Minerva Montesino. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
