“So sorry to hear of Etta’s passing. I met her when I was nine years old and moved into the neighborhood. We became fast friends all through grammar school but lost touch in high school. We spent so many happy days riding our bikes, going to the movies and the beach, sharing all our dreams for the future. The years I know we’re not always kind to her.
