She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Ballou; and her parents, George Dakake and Lillie Dakake (Messadi). She is survived by: her children, Glen Spardello (Celia), David Spardello, Dawn Spardello, Gary Spardello and Shawn Spardello; her siblings, Irene Balon, Norman Dakake, Edward Dakake, Dennis Dakake, Maryann Chandonnait, Charles Dakake, Camelia Koury and Dolores Silva; and her grandchildren, Lauren N., Tammy, Jacqueline, Glen Jr., Nicholas, Katie, Sophia, Nathan, Thalia, Lauren, Arianna and Zachari. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Historic Swan Point Cemetery Chapel (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
